’Branded residences across the globe are positioned as the most sought-after homes for their unrivalled convenience, security, luxury amenity and high assurance of quality.

In partnership with 1 Hotel & Homes, we’ve curated the residences and lifestyle at Seafarers to be unlike anything Melbourne has seen before’’ said Riverlee Development Director David Lee.

While residents will have everything they need on hand, they will be living in the heart of Melbourne and just walking distance to the CBD, South Wharf shopping and dining precinct, Crown, Yarra Promenade and Southgate. The $500 million development by Riverlee will also incorporate Seafarers Rest, a 3500sqm public park designed by Oculus for residents, hotel guests and the public to enjoy, returning this once-forgotten space back to Melburnians.

Designed by renowned Melbourne-based architect Nonda Katsalidis of Fender Katsalidis, Seafarers is centred on an inspired reimagining of the heritage-protected Goods Shed 5. First constructed in 1942, the Goods Shed No.5 has recently undergone heritage retention works to salvage as many materials to re-use in the new waterfront precinct.

The salvaged items include 1,944 bluestone pavers, 20 timber sliding doors, 40 steel trusses and 105 steel window frames which will be used in the reconstruction of the Goods Shed. Approximately 2km worth of timber purlins, also salvaged, will be repurposed through the new building including in 1 Hotel Melbourne, likely to be incorporated as feature stairs, wall cladding, lighting fixtures, furniture and hotel bedheads.

The remaining 2 and 3-bedroom residences at Seafarers represent the final opportunity for residents to experience absolute riverfront living in the heart of the city. Park/City View Residences are priced from $1.195 million and Riverfront Residences from $1.9 million.
