This announcement by developer, Beulah has set the stage for the construction of a remarkable twin tower that seamlessly merges luxury living with a strong cultural identity.
STH BNK By Beulah isn’t just an ambitious endeavour for Beulah; it represents one of Australia’s most audacious undertakings to date. The resounding endorsement from the City of Melbourne’s Future Melbourne Committee more than three years ago, combined with the official stamp of planning approval by the Victorian State Government on 23 April 2020, marks a defining moment in our nation’s architectural evolution. A $2 billion statement to innovation, this project is set to ascend as Australia’s tallest tower, reinvigorating Southbank for both current and forthcoming generations; with multifaceted functions spanning residential, retail, and commercial domains, its cultural innovation promises to enrich Melbourne’s civic tapestry, transforming it into a hub of inspiring creativity.
As avid admirers and staunch supporters of this transformative venture, The Asian Executive lauds this project as a triumphant embodiment of architectural ingenuity. Notably, it is poised to grace the Southern Hemisphere with a record-breaking stature, becoming the tallest skyscraper in the region, all while boasting the world’s tallest vertical garden – a breathtaking testament to nature and design harmoniously entwined.
Beulah Managing Director Jiaheng Chan said Multiplex was chosen due to its wealth of global experience in building tall towers that push the envelope in design and construction while ensuring sustainability remains central to its core operations.

Among their achievements stand Australia 108 by World Class Global and the landmark Melbourne Square by OSK Property – both symbols of construction prowess which adorns Melbourne’s skyline.

Multiplex’s Australia 108, which soars 319 meters above sea level, has redefined Melbourne’s skyline. Its iconic golden Starburst, a marvel at 210 meters, radiates from levels 70 and 71, paying homage to the Commonwealth Star that graces Australia’s flag. Fender Katsalidis Architects’ brilliance brings this engineering marvel to life, enriching Melbourne’s tapestry with its innovative grandeur.
Similarly, Multiplex’s Melbourne Square redefines urban living in Melbourne’s heart with its towering majesty spanning 38 to 73 levels. A terraced podium ushers in over 3,700 square metres of public spaces, melding verdant parklands and a bustling retail precinct.
The bold vivacity of STH BNK By Beulah is destined to breathe life into Melbourne, with its mixed-use allure becoming a hub for work, residence, and leisure. The Four Seasons hotel, a crown jewel of STH BNK By Beulah, promises to draw international luminaries to Melbourne’s embrace.
